Exotic Seasonal Mango Delicacies at Patisserie

HONG KONG (April, 2017) – Patisserie’s Pastry Chef Kelvin Lai has selected seasonal mangoes to create three scrumptious delicacies that will satisfy every sweet craving. By pairing the tropical fruit with coconut, pomelo and cheese, such original and balanced combinations of flavour make the delicious cakes truly exclusive. These wonderful treats will be available at Patisserie throughout April and May.

Mango coconut mousse cake (HK$290 per pound, HK$45 per piece)

The use of generous amount of enticing coconut pudding, luscious mango mousse and crunchy shortbread offers the perfect balance of exotic taste and refreshing fragrance. The cake is completed with a glossy marble layer of white chocolate and surrounded by mango slices, making it a delight to see and a must for mango fans!

Mango pomelo custard cake (HK$290 per pound, HK$45 per piece)

This delicious cake is layered with airy egg white sponge cakes, smooth and creamy custard and a filling of tantalising mango pomelo pudding. Finished with a snowy white coating and a colourful decoration of pomelo and fresh berries, this treat is delectable and refreshing – an irresistible indulgence sure to satisfy any palate.  

Daifuku mango cheese cake (HK$290 per pound, HK$45 per piece)

This rich cheese cake exudes the delicate and exotic fruit flavours of fresh mangoes.  Adding a creative twist, our chefs put plentiful chewy homemade Daifuku in between the layers of the cake. These famous Japanese glutinous rice cakes match perfectly with the smooth mango cream cheese, making them a delightful surprise for adults and children alike.
